Event Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Application of these Terms and Conditions) These Terms and Conditions apply to all users (hereinafter referred to as "Members") who register as members of SusHi Tech Tokyo and SusHi Tech Tokyo Remote (hereinafter referred to as "the Event") and use related services. By completing the membership registration procedure, you are deemed to have agreed to all the contents of these Terms and Conditions.

Article 2 (Handling of Personal Information)

Purpose of Use of Personal Information The Executive Committee will use members' personal information for the following purposes.
(1) For the purpose of providing information regarding the operation of this event.
(2) To provide information about products and services of related or collaborating events, exhibiting companies, sponsoring companies, etc., as well as information about their marketing activities, advertisements, etc.
(3) To aggregate statistically processed personal information and use it for improving this event, public relations and promotional activities, etc.
(4) To respond to various inquiries from members regarding the operation of this event.

Joint Use of Personal Information: Personal information of members that has been obtained may be jointly used among the parties listed in "Scope of Joint Use."
(1) Categories of personal information: Name, email address, attributes, nationality, event records, information about employment (company name, department, position, address)
(2) Scope of joint use: Organizer (SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 Executive Committee), sponsoring companies, Tokyo Metropolitan Government
(3) Management of personal information: Members' personal information will be managed responsibly and appropriately in accordance with the personal information protection policy of the organizing committee.

Article 3 (Cancellation or modification of events)

The organizers may cancel the event or change its dates and content without prior notice to members if any of the following circumstances occur:
(1) When it becomes difficult to operate the event due to natural disasters, war, terrorism, fire, the spread of infectious diseases, or other force majeure events.
(2) When it becomes difficult to operate the event due to a request for cancellation from an administrative agency, power outage, suspension of public transportation, or other reasons not attributable to the organizer.
(3) When the organizer determines that it is necessary to cancel or change the event for operational reasons.

As a general rule, ticket prices will not be refunded. However, this does not apply if the organizer approves a refund separately, such as in the case of cancellation due to reasons attributable to the organizer. The conditions and procedures for refunds will be determined separately.

The organizers shall not be liable for any incidental damages, such as travel expenses or accommodation costs, incurred by members as a result of the cancellation or modification of the event, regardless of the reason.

Article 4 (Prohibited Actions) Members shall not engage in the following actions when participating in this event:

Items prohibited from being brought into the venue: Unless otherwise permitted by the organizers, dangerous goods, items prohibited by law, and items that may cause a nuisance to other participants are prohibited.

・Dangerous goods, etc. ・Explosives, dangerous goods, and anything that may cause explosion, ignition, or release toxic gases. ・Weapons, weapons, guns, swords, knives, scissors, and other bladed weapons. ・Tear gas sprays and other items that may cause harm to people or cause discomfort. ・Fireworks, gas cylinders, large quantities of lighters, matches, and other flammable materials. ・Golf clubs, bats, rackets, and other items that may be used as weapons. ・Other items whose possession is prohibited by law, etc. ・Other prohibited items ・Animals other than service dogs, hearing dogs, and guide dogs, as well as plants and their seeds. ・Amateur radio equipment, low-power radio equipment, transceivers, and other wireless communication equipment (excluding mobile phones, radios, etc.).
- Banners, flags, and other similar items - Loudspeakers, megaphones, speakers, and other items that may produce noise - Roller skates, skateboards, kick scooters, and other items that may obstruct pedestrian traffic - Any other items deemed inappropriate for maintaining order and safety at the venue

Prohibited Actions within the Venue: In order to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of order at this event, the following actions are prohibited.

- Soliciting for a specific religion - Election campaigning - Discriminatory remarks or actions towards others - Defamation or slander of others - Infringement of others' privacy - Sexual harassment and similar acts - Remarks or actions that violate laws or public order and morals - Smoking outside of designated smoking areas - Failure to cooperate with infectious disease control measures - Loud talking during events where talking is prohibited - Excessive sales or marketing activities that exceed common sense - Illegal collection, disclosure, or provision of personal information - Any other actions that the organizers deem inappropriate for participation

Handling of Violators: If a member violates the prohibited actions described in this clause, the organizer may refuse entry to the venue or remove the member from the venue. In this case, no refund of the ticket price will be given. Furthermore, the organizer may restrict the member's participation in all future events.

Article 5 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
If the organizers determine that a member is associated with a criminal organization, a member of a criminal organization, a quasi-member of a criminal organization, a company affiliated with a criminal organization, a corporate racketeer who threatens or obstructs shareholder meetings, an activist who poses as a social activist to gain illegal profits, an activist who poses as a political activist to gain illegal profits, or a criminal organization-related group, similar group, or individual with expertise in such matters (so-called anti-social forces), the organizers may refuse to sell or deliver tickets to the member, refuse entry to the venue, or order the member to leave the venue.

Article 6 (Right of Portrait) During the event, the organizer or a person authorized by the organizer will take photographs of the venue. The ownership and copyright of the portraits of members included in the photographs, videos, and other records taken (hereinafter referred to as "records") belong to the organizer. Records may be published on internet sites, social media, newspapers, magazines, television, etc. for the purpose of publicity and promotion of this event. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, members agree that their portraits may be photographed and published.
